One of the most thrilling races in the world of motorsports, the Formula E London E-Prix, geared up for an immersive fan experience on July 30-31, 2022 at ExCeL London. The event's organizers pulled out all the stops by introducing 15,000 LED wristbands that lit up the grandstands, adding a new dimension of excitement to the already thrilling event.

The story behind the curtains

Our journey with the Formula E London organizing committee began with a creative scope session. As we brainstormed ways to enhance the fan experience, the idea of using LED wristbands sparked excitement and enthusiasm!

We sprang into action, determined to make their vision a reality. We decided to distribute the wristbands evenly among the attendees, using 20 groups of wristbands. This way, we ensured the best randomized effects, bringing the show to life in an immersive and unforgettable way.

To guarantee a seamless execution, the organizers requested a technical rehearsal day. We gladly provided an on-site technician with our top-of-the-line DMX Base Station to oversee the testing process and make any necessary adjustments.

The day finally arrived, and as the show began, the grandstands lit up in a dazzling display of colors and patterns. The synchronized wristbands were a stunning addition to the race, elevating the fan experience to a whole new level.
