The International Youth Convention is a three-day event where Christians from all over the world meet and share their faith. 35,000 believers gathered in the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany. Our job was to put on a spectacular but intimate concert show, supporting the speakers and performers on the stage as well as connecting them with the crowd.

This show had quite a few challenges: every wristband had to last for three days; the light show had to be powerful yet intimate; and we were asked to develop four programs to sweep the crowd off their feet.

Simply put: the event was breath-taking. A particular highlight was seeing how a light wave rolled through the arena - and the crowd matched it with a spontaneous Mexican wave.
