The largest supermarket in The Netherlands, Albert Heijn, is the host of Zaandam Valley. They’ve teamed up with Tweakers to discuss the future of retail.
During this event, all new developments and innovations within retail were being shared.
What did we do?
In close cooperation with the organization, we determined how far we could go with NFC integration. 200 wristbands, all individually controlled, NFC integration with URL and a unique ID. We also prepared a quiz in connection with the wristbands. Get the answer right, turn green, get the answer wrong, turn red.
Guests got the wristband sent to their home, scanned it with their phone, and registered their wristband. Pre-event a countdown appeared on your phone. During the event, the wristbands were used as an entrance ticket, as well as providing real-time info.
The overall experience was a fluid, frictionless event. The wristbands added to the crowd immersion and exemplified what a modern event should like!
